Yeasayer: pop yet alternative? I like them

I may not say that I am really into so-called pop music. Actually, pop music usually does not move me … at all.

But these New Yorkers have produced two albums that I really like very much!

I thus recommend both All Hour Cymbals (2007) and Odd Blood (2010) to your best attention.

As far as I know, it is rather unusual to hear a band sing something like this on cheerful - yet good - music:

No, you don't move me anymore
And I am glad that you don't
'Cause I cannot have you anymore
